Danggit is a famous comfort food served commonly in breakfast time matched with a vinegar dip that matches well with the fish and rice. It undergoes in the process of being dried in the sun but before that it is gutted as well as removing the bones of the fish, it also is cured with salt that is why it has a salty taste.

I am not a seafood lover but this one as well as Calamares is an exception. They have that taste that I like which other fish dishes don't have. At first I was having second thought on trying out this kind of dish as it looks scary and weird, even if I am fearful for my first bite it didn't fail me on my other tries because I love it. 

The salty flavored matched with its crispiness all together with the sourness of the vinegar while being served with rice is truly comforting for us Filipinos. How about you?
