An expensive pooch

Over Christmas my bright spark of a Bull Mastiff did something to his leg.He would limp around with the occasional yelp. We looked for the obvious like a thorn in the paw but nothing visible. Pulled muscle I said as that was the cheapest option.Bed rest and we will wait and see.

Not so lucky it seems as I was dragged to the vet this morning with the dog. After the normal scans it was revealed he had torn his Crucial Knee Ligament.I know about that injury as football players normally break down with that one. The problem is my pooch doesn't make a salary with many zero's and costs me.

I felt ill when I saw the quote and at least they gave me two options. One done locally by the vet and the other by a specialist with a price to match his qualifications. I told them about my option which didn't go down too well. A chainsaw and the savings we will power up on my Steem account.

I went with option number one due to family pressure which is converting into currency we understand a little over $500.Option 2 was more than double, but then again option 3 was way cheaper and they have no sense of humor.

The worst part is you have to keep him quiet and inactive for up to 12 weeks.I did ask for some strong weed and drugs to knock him out for 3 months.That is going to be tough and if he cocks this up he isn't going back.
