Petals Contests - Pinkflowerday - Verbena officinalis
Verbina, also called "sacred grass" by Persians, Egyptians and Romans, is one of the oldest medicinal plants. Half of the diseases that this plant treats are related to the nervous and psychic system, a domain in which verbina has miraculous properties. It not only calms and relieves pain, reduces mental tension and various depressive disorders, but also plays a real protective role, preventing disturbances at this level.
Verbine based preparations
Hydroalcoholic extract (tincture)
Put in a jar twenty tablespoons of verbine powder, add 500 ml of 50-degree food alcohol. Close the hermetically sealed jar and let to macerate for two weeks in a warm place.
