I was so excited to discover just now that I am one of the winners of the Roses Open Weekend competition last week.

Winning is always exciting but this time it was even more so because of all the photographs I've ever posted on Steemit, in the 6 months I've been here, last weeks Old Masters Rose was my very favourite.

I've won competitions before with photographs that I liked but didn't love, and failed to win with the ones I loved so this time, it worked perfectly for me. 😁

This soft, soft pink wild rose is my entry this week.
