Promoting Peace With Words

in #peace5 years ago

Every individual has the ability to promote peace with their words or actions, and if you can promote peace with words that also means that you can fuel confrontation with your words.

When we are careless and don't put much time and effort into what we say, it's very easy to foolishly say something confrontational.

Sure, it can be amusing sometimes, but I would say that's a pretty low standard for entertainment.

If we lack the ability to effectively communicate with others, this too is a shortcoming that can quickly fuel discord in our community and with others around us.

There are many places to go looking if you want to hear negative and careless messages, because it doesn't take any special intelligence or talent to complain about problems or others. Locking yourself into an echo chamber probably isn't going to inspire much growth either. Hating other people or ridiculing their actions or life choices, belittling their existence, isn't a way to inspire them to listen or want to change into what you want them to be or to live how you think they should be living.

Focus more on improving your own self, and you might find that you have less time to think about how much improvement others have to make.

Every individual should have the liberty to live however they want to live in such a peaceful way that it doesn't infringe upon the rights of others. We never know what day is going to be our last on this earth and what a waste of that precious time to spend it upset over how others are exercising their liberty.

The state holds the business of telling others how they should live their lives and they don't need any help.

To spend our time spreading messages of ridicule and hate rather than seeking to uplift, inspire, and pursue peace. It's messages of hope that have always been able to have the greatest impact, it's much wiser to sow peace with words than to waste time and erode peace by fueling conflict.

I try to follow this saying: treat others like how you want to be treated.

I do get disappointed sometimes though.. 🙄🙂

I understand what you say and I always believed that our words have a great power and when someone use them badly it's a bad thing, I also agree when you say that people must be careful with their "tips" like "you should do that or that" or their criticism, some people not improve the others but just put them down with poisonous words.
