I just joined the 400 followers club ; Steemitarians any red hot hints on turning that number into 4000?
Well I finally nailed it.
I made a commitment to get 400 followers on steemit back in June 2018 and last night I achieved it.
As you can see I have followed a lot of people in the process of finding my 400 friends! Over 800.
Is there a relationship between gathering followees and converting them into followers ? I know on twitter the big guns have many followers but only follow a few themselves.
I think that sounds a bit harsh to ditch all my friends on steemit but what concrete steps can I do to '10x' my 400 into FOUR THOUSAND ?
Any hints/recommendations most welcome

Hello ozkdawg first I want to congratulate your place in the 400 club. Maybe join a community and discord that might help. But better 400 accounts voting than 4000 dead fish.

@brittandjosie - thanks for your most excellent insights. I am currently using partiko , as i find it an easy way to regularly post onto steemit. But I should always be looking to at what is out there to enrich myself and enrich the content on steemit.
I'm just reading about steemify and that sounds ace as there are definitely people i like to follow and i find i have to hunt around and find them in my list of 800+ users.

Congratulations, Ozkdawg! All I can say is that if you have 400 followers who genuinely interact with you then you're doing well. As to how to add to those numbers, I suppose you may want to join a few communities that share your interests and perhaps expand upon the content that you're creating. Whatever you choose to blog/create, make sure it's something you enjoy since who wants to spend their time doing something that they don't? Good luck with your goal!
