Family Turns To Sugar Free Diet And Cannabis Oil To Save Their Daughter

in #palnet5 years ago

Los Angeles County Firefighter J. von Harz has a daughter that was diagnosed in 2013 with a rare kidney cancer. She has been battling cancer for most of her life and has undergone multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation. However, those treatment options eventually caused liver damage and were no longer an option for her.

Her parents went looking for alternative treatments and admit that the combination of an organic, sugar-free diet and cannabis oil have been tremendously effective in helping her.

After turning to the sugar-free diet and cannabis oil, her parents admit that now she is much happier and full of energy, whereas before she was sick and in a great deal of pain.

Her parents say that the new treatment has shown promise in shrinking her tumors.

Firefighters from all over the country helped to raise funds for the family several years ago, the family still today years later believes that diet and alternative therapies are what's working best.

A Story Of Cannabis Healing

They've been able to share their story, with four other families, who have all used cannabis to help them fight back against cancer. Those stories are detailed in the Netflix documentary Weed The People that came out last year.

“This isn’t fringe science anymore,... Studies have shown that cannabis can help kill cancer, in conjunction with chemotherapy, and also help fight the side effects of chemo.” - Los Angeles pediatrician Dr. B. Goldstein

Jim and Jaclyn von Harz eventually made the decision to stop chemotherapy for their daughter altogether, fearing that it would kill her before the cancer did and they started giving her high doses of both THC and CBD oils every day, 400mg.

After a couple of months they could see from scans that the tumors had either disappeared or greatly shrunk in size and their daughter hasn't shown any symptoms or signs of cancer since then either.

There may be many out there who have stories of sugar free diets and cannabis therapy helping them to seek healing from a wide range of illness, including cancer, but many scientists insist still that more investigation is needed to prove that either would be effective at lowering your chances of cancer.

I admit i have been burnt out on cannabis docs, and finally caved in and gave this one a try. So glad I did! I highly recommend it that someone reading this comment to watch it tonight! It gave me goosebumps, and even brought a few tears to my eyes.

thanks for posting that and sharing your experience with it!

There is going to be so much money being thrown at research in the coming years. Soon the cloud of lies everyone has been caught in will dissipate and all the healing properties will come to light.

that time can't come soon enough

cannabis oil is very tasty.
and I like cannabis milk (blended cannabis gives white liquid, so-called "milk"), very tasty as well, and all cannabis products are useful, I've read much about them. Nature is wise.

yes i have heard of making tea with milk like that, but haven't tried it myself

Hello, great post! Impressive, more and more assertions about the effectiveness of these treatments. I studied traditional Chinese medicine, and I discovered in some treatise on medicinal herbs, that they had been using it for several centuries in multiple treatments. I hope that the day will come when more alternatives like these will be accepted, the important thing should always be the patient's health.

they started giving her high doses of both THC and CBD oils every day, 400mg.

How did they give it to her? Injections? Food?

syringe/oil

What does that mean, @doitvoluntarily? Intravenous? I really would like to know.

it's a syringe full of oil, as shown in the picture, you take it orally 👍

So, it’s oral intake. Thank you, @doitvoluntarily.

You can place it under the tongue, or mix it in with juice, food, or just swallow it whole. But under the tongue is the most effective way.

Thanks, @jonyoudyer, that’s the explanation I hoped for.

it's not a needle
