Painting and Print - Original Art- "Queensland Floods and Sunshine"
Painted after massive flooding caused by a huge Storm surge, and during the subsequent Sunshine.
In 2011 Brisbane was hit by a tropical Cyclone and many people where made homeless by the floods that followed.
I was greatly moved by the recent tragedy in Florida, and it brings back memories of this disaster time closer to home.
My girlfriend Mizuki Yamada and I (David Emanuel) painted this on Canvas using Acrylic.
It was shown is the Queensland Art Gallery, as part of an exhibition featuring art created during the Flooding and Subsequent Period.
This Print is of my art and i own the rights to publish it. The painting is pictured below as well.
