My greeting today I want to do it with a watercolor that depicts the hilly landscape in the morning.
My pictorial work is one of the most beautiful and typical areas of the Italian landscape: the Sienese hills.
In addition to being famous for good food, wine, truffles, majestic cypresses, and especially art, this marvelous geographical area provides the best colors for earth in the art of the entire planet.
I'm talking about one of the main colors of painting, that is, the land of Siena, with burnt sienna, all ochres, brown, the land of shade and other warm and cold variations that derive from the clays of this territory.
The name of the famous and indispensable color derives from the massive use that was made by the great Tuscan artists in the Renaissance.
In my watercolor you can clearly see the colors of which I spoke, but very light and with painted veils to represent the misty morning air.
The atmosphere that I wanted to give to the picture is that of a fairytale and romantic landscape, soaked in suffused light and silence.

Il mio saluto di oggi lo voglio fare con un acquarello che raffigura un paesaggio collinare toscano in un mattino silenzioso e nebbioso.
Il mio lavoro pittorico rappresenta una zona tra le più belle e tipiche del paesaggio italiano: le colline senesi.
Oltre a essere famosa per il buon cibo, il vino, il tartufo, i maestosi cipressi, e soprattutto l'arte, questa meravigliosa area geografica fornisce le migliori terre per i colori nell'arte di tutto il pianeta.
Sto parlando di uno dei colori principali della pittura, ossia, terra di Siena, con terra di Siena bruciata, tutte le ocre, il bruno, la terra d'ombra e altre variazioni calde e fredde che derivano dalle argille di questo territorio.
Il nome del famoso e indispensabile colore deriva dal massiccio uso che è stato fatto dai grandi artisti Toscani nel Rinascimento.
Nel mio acquarello potete vederne chiaramente i colori di cui ho parlato, ma molto leggeri e con velature dipinte a rappresentare l'aria nebbiosa del mattino.
L'atmosfera che ho voluto donare al quadro è quella di un paesaggio fiabesco e romantico, intriso di luce soffusa e di silenzio.
