What is IONChain

This is a Singapore based IOT Infrastructure. IONChain is a very infant ecosystem founded on early 2018, to address the following challenges facing the IOT industry presently.

The following problems have seriously caused and lead to the setbacks of the IOT;

Data security is poor.
Data transactions are slowly completed.
Inefficiency in Data sharing and calculation.

Internet of Thing

IOT is a major player when it comes global information technology. Recent statistics shows that IOT Ranks third after computer and the internet. A study into the future has estimated a total of 1289.9 Billion USD to be invested in IOT by the year 2020, also IOT connected devices are expected to grow tremendously, reaching an estimate of 30 Billion within the same time interval. However, despite this potentials shown by the network, Lack of security and user privacy which are very important and paramount factors challenging the development of the IOT industry have not been dealt with, presently users are troubled with not being able to control their confidential particulars.

IONChain and the impact it is creating

IONChain is presented at this point as the best decentralized solution to the problems mentioned before.
It intends increasing privacy and security as well as integration to devices. It will unify all communication parameters of the IOT devices, despite the device in use.

What is the influence of edge computing on IOT

This system is the practice of data processing, which is carried out near the edge of users network at the origin of the data. This functions as a substitution for centralized processing units. In a nutshell the era in which data was processed by sending it to a data center is gone, data will now be processed by users using IOT connected devices.
The duty of data processing is shared between individual devices and the cloud. Lighter data to be processed are done on local devices, then the cloud service can take care of the rest.

IONChain concept

The vision of the IONChain is mainly to aid break obstructions which challenge communication between different devices connected to the IOT, the IONchain concept is called "One Device, One coin, one code". The one device implying that IOT Devices are unified, the code is the unique code each IOT devices has and the coin is IONC used on the IONChain platform.

An aspect of their vision includes partnership with various global manufacturers and also embed uniqueness, privacy and security of the users.

Inter planetary file system

With this system, IONChain tackles the problem of large blocks faced by the blockchain. We understand that large blocks in a blockchain is accompanied by show transaction speed. But with IPFS built into the IONChain interface in order to tackle the issue, which is accomplished by separating storage and transaction in order to reduce block size, inversely increasing transaction speed.

Technical Architecture [the Ionization Algorithm]

In chemistry or science Ionization is defined as the acquisition of charge (+ve or -ve) by atoms, molecules or group of atoms by loosing or gaining electrons. In IONChain this algorithm separates storage and value transfer. It now becomes possible for data to be created and processed by local devices and then is later latched on the network connecting all IOT devices.

IONChain value Generation

The ionchain value generation process is classified into four major categories;

Value generation which involves the processing of information and storage in each local smart devices.
Value verification which is the blockchain.
Value evaluation which data is secured and protected from double spend attacks.
Value conformation implies the stage were IONC is generated after transactions are confirmed.

The generation process can be categorized into six Layers

Application Layer.
Service Layer.
Protocol Layer.
Smart contract Layer. Blockchain Layer.
Storage Layer.

USE CASE

As far as blockchain and internet operability is positive in a particular aspect of the global economy, then IONChain can be comfortably, efficiently and effectively intergrated.
An instance for example is that of John, who is a strong enthusiast of Automation, he always dreamt of his television and satellite room door. If the different manufacturers of this products could create smart locks, smart satellite and TV switch which integrates the IONChain protocol then his dreams will becomes reality.

IONChain is opening a new era to the IOT, Automation from blockchain will get more applications, and the IONC token is utilized over the IOT in ways like; rewarding miners, compensation for computer smart contracts etc.
