Humans have the ability to learn and understand things, deal with new difficult situations. But for equipments and machines, it was impossible for them to perform task without the direct help of humans and could not perform analysis or take decision. The integration of an intelligence of human capacity which enables machines to learn by receiving, storing and analysing sensory data to make decision just like humans through written algorithms is known as artificial intelligence.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has received tremendous contribution from different scientist and has come to stay as a technology that would facilitates and enhance all human efforts. Programs are written in form of algorithms to perform certain task which are incorporated into machines that will enable them carryout such task(s). There are many Artificial algorithms today like SVM, Naïve, Decision Trees, Bayes among others which allows storage of data that can be analyzed for decisions with less error at a faster rate.

People's Fear

People fear this technology would render many jobless and as such see no reasons why it should be embraced. However, the fear of technology impacts on job is not new as it has been in time past when computer was introduced. The fact is that people have to learn and embrace a better way of working with computer, and today, millions of people earn directly from computer and networking activities especially the freelancing jobs online that have employed millions. Therefore, making myriad dependent on computer for their work. Millions prefer today to work as a freelancer from home using same that was believed would make people jobless.

Essentially, introduction of AI would bring about a paradigm shift in the working environment as AI would eliminate some forms of job or labour and create demand for other types of digital work. The technology may depend on data distilled by humans through algorithms that humans would train. Therefore, humans will be needed to train algorithms and handle exceptions. It is on this note I introduce to you Effect.AI

It is no doubt that some jobs will be disrupted but mechanical Turk will create more jobs through efficiency and intelligent processes that will actually reduce the labour cost and maximize output having a more mechanical advantage in production. However, it should not be viewed as humans replacement but as a tool that will assist humans as combination of human and machines will perform more excellent than either working alone.

Humans are liable to commit error especially when handling a large volume of data set but companies of machines is as well not conducive not interactive and not interesting environment. But the team of human and AI would be great.

Effect AI aim at restructuring the already existing AI economy by bringing close its pillars to aid cheaper, faster and easier interactions between the economic components. This will come in 3 different stages with distinctive prospects that will enhance work environment and production both for workers (users) and employers of labour, bringing a fair and transparent pay system. The three (3) distinct phases that will bring about tremendous transformation in work environment is as represented in the diagram below:

Discussion in this context would be limited to Phase 1 (Effect force) which is starting very soon, a crowdfunding platform.

Phase 1
This is a decentralized on-demand, scalable and distributed workforce phase. It is a decentralized Mechanical Turk which is aimed at allowing anyone in the world to perform a wide range of task and get a fair payment having a digital and transparent record. Therefore, it is expected that large human effort would be needed to train AI algorithms for which they would receive a fair payment. The system would be an interactive market place for task that requires human intelligence.

Effect Force and Employment in Developing Countries:

Effect Force will enable companies to successfully use AI in ways that enables not replaces the human workforce and helping to make humans faster, more efficient and more productive.

However, the transition into AI technology in developing countries most especially countries of Africa, Asia, Latin America among others cannot be abrupt or sudden, there will be time to learn new skill sets that would be developed through training so as to make human workforce pivotal thereby creating jobs for many that would be trainers, analysts, collectors, advisers among others. In general, AI would create highly skilled and management positions.

The employments that would be created by this decentralized Mechanical Turk in developing countries can be summarized into the following:

Ten employment opportunities that Effect Force would create in developing countries:

1. Data Detectives, Collectors and Analyst There would be need for individuals who are skilful in the areas of collecting data as AI cannot work without data and coding. Thereby giving rooms for collectors, analyst that will work on the generated data as well.
2. IT facilitators and Troubleshooters Machines can develop faults, individuals who are skilful in repair or troubleshooting AI system would be needed
3. Ethical Sourcing Officers that will promote companies Corporate Social Responsibilities would be needed
4. Computational Intelligence Offices would be created and human intelligence would be needed here.
5. AI Business Development Managers Individuals who will market the technology itself would be needed
6. Neuroscientist especially those in the fields of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology would be needed
7. AI Trainers and those that will be involved in modelling would be needed
8. Language Translations: AI system cannot be programmed in a single language, thereby giving chances to people of different languages of developing countries to be engaged in the work of language translation.
9. AI Assisted Technicians that will monitor AI

Problems Micro-tasking can handle

Micro-tasking deals with splitting a large job into small task that can be distributed over the internet for many people. There are several jobs that can be divided into units or fragments for which individuals from different places can handle parts. This can be summarized into the following points:

• Image classification: Image classification is an integral part of AI as recognition of objects, people, tools are based on classification. Therefore, individuals from different fields can be employed through micro-tasking to do the classification.
• Audio Transcribing: Micro-tasking can employ different aspects of language transcribing like transliteration, translation, transmission of audio, understanding of the audio messages.
• Data Labelling and Data Sorting: Sorting and labelling of data of different kinds can be distributed through the internet to individuals in different fields.
• Data Analysis: Analysis of any type of data can be done through micro-tasking. Be it spatial data, temporal data or any other form. This will allow individuals from different fields to make analysis based on their concern.
• Advertisement: Commercial is very important for all business and through micro-tasking, people from different environment and different languages can be reached through various means like social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc), Media (Electronic News, TV and Radios). Through micro-tasking, myriad of people can be reached.

How fair and Instant Pay will Impact Adaptability

For instance, Mr. Sam, a salary earner, he needs an urgent sum of money to settle a financial challenge. As a salary earner, he have to wait till the end of the month to get money. Mr Sam was then introduced to crowdfunding platform, where he can work and get instant pay. He immediately made his service available and got paid accordingly for a job well done. He was then able to fulfil his financial obligations. Importantly, Mr. Sam can always return to offer his service whenever in need of money urgently or may even decide to quit what he is doing if its not as such profitable compared to what he stands to enjoy if he devote time to working on the platform. He has learned a new way of working and at the same time adapted to a new way of working in a new environment. This is how fair and instant pay would impact adaptability.

The fair and instant pay feature will make sure that for every task done, there would be a fair proportional reward which will lead to higher patronage as people will start seeing the platform as a source of income that is reliable. When this happens then adaptation has taken place i.e. getting to embrace and patronize the criticised system and viewing it as a reliable source of income. Different task will attract different compensation, depending on the nature of the task and difficulties involved.

Conclusion

Effect force will bring about different jobs in which average internet users, students, skilled and semi-skilled individuals can participate and as well get a fair and instant pay either for fun or to meet financial obligations.
This integrated system will bring freedom, convenience and flexibility to working time or schedule and enable users who have been having difficulties in their schedules or the demand of their job and other demanding roles conflict reconcile schedules since work can now be done anytime, anywhere and profitably.
