Oracle-D Is Now Live!!! Time To Bring In The Investors
The other day, Oracle-D put up a post that it is going live. This is a major milestone for the STEEM blockchain and one that will most likely help all of our holdings.
This is an application that took @ned's goal of 100K business on the STEEM blockchain to heart.
Set up by @starkerz and @anarcotech, the goal is to reward content creators for putting together professional content while also bringing in a stream of investors to buy and hold STEEM. It is through these purchases that the content creators will be rewarded.
What we do is create relationships with clients who want to leverage the power of the communities on the STEEM blockchain to encourage real world activities. These could be anything and everything, and the number of applications we can use this model for is vast.

The key is to keep bringing in new investment into the ecosystem. This will allow for content creators to profit more from their great work while also providing services of all kinds.
This is based upon the idea of volunteerism. People are free to choose what they get involved in. If something catches one's attention, then contributing to that project is what one can do. It is all based upon interest. Anyone who is interested in earning more rewards for putting in focused effort is able to do so.
Outside investment enables the entire ecosystem to grow. Content creators are able to grow their accounts while the investors benefit from higher prices that should result from more quality content being posted.
This is just a sampling of the areas, according to one of their posts, that people can work on:
- ICO/Company/Product reviews - give your opinion on these.
- Join a community - perform a specific task or series of tasks
- Create content - create content around a specific area
- Participate in something fun - maybe get paid to play computer games
- Do some activity on social media - for example push a series of posts out onto twitter/facebook etc.
- Get involved in humaitarian work - get paid to help people.

Quality posts are what will drive clients to invest sizable amounts of money into buying STEEM. There are already 4 articles written by Steemians that rank in Google top 20 . Other potential clients seeing that could be motivated to deal with an entity that can post that types of results on a regular basis. As this blockchain grows, it should help to rank higher in searches.
Here is the most exciting part: they are already progressing forward with lining up the investors.
We have already encouraged our first major investors to come into the ecosystem, bringing over $200,000 worth of new investment in STEEM. We are also in late stage negotiations with, and we are actively involved in spreading the message to, many more investors who are interested in the potential of the STEEM blockchain to create highly informed, engaged and active communities.

If this is the start, it is really amazing. To open up shop with that kind of target speaks volumes about the team behind this and the opportunity that is at hand. It also is showing how the STEEM blockchain is starting to become a serious player in the online world. While we are still small relative to some of the other traditional sites, the fact that we are a blockchain that has real-world use is garnering some attention. It appears there might be some willing to back that use with investment.
Here we see STEEM being taken to another level. If all pans out as I am sure the Oracle-D people are intending, this will make STEEM a forum which produces professional content for paying clients. This could be a win-win=win for all involved.
Content creators make higher rewards for their work. The clients get professional content to help promote their projects. And the STEEM ecosystem is supported by outside investment which will enable it to grow at a greater pace.
Many people who cover this industry are asking when are we going to see a lot of real-world application for blockchain technology. This project could really help create that bridge.
And put STEEM further in the lead in this category.

Always very skeptical on side projects like this. The idea how generate a community from scratch with money usually never works out well. It breeds entitlement.
A community of content writers started this project perhaps about 10 days ago. The community did start from scratch, in contained many complete strangers whom I had never come across on the platform. At the beginning there was no knowledge of what rewards the content creators would get in terms of monetary reward, but there has been oodles of camaraderie and good humour within the collection of writers. Seems like a great project for a content creator community. Only high quality will get rewarded so, so if some one writes a high quality post and it meets the guidelines - I think the project systems and processes ensure they will get some reward.
That's smart. I have given that suggestion in the past. If you can pay people when they create 1000 word high quality posts let's say $30 then that could drive massive value to the platform
The early adopters have been exceeding $30 post payout (sometimes much more). But you are right that $30 sort of threshold can mean a massive amount to people dotted all over the globe. It's a clever project.
The @oracle-d client doesn't directly engage with or reward the writer, there are oracles, and thresholds for review and quality control before anyone gains any reward. It's worth learning a bit more about - especially for good writers like yourself.

Yes the platform is working.... (you won't find the content written by the "pro-content creators" anywhere near the oracle-d tag). The content is on the blockchain in tags which are relevant to the Oracle-d Clients specific requirements. At this stage I would recommend you join the discord group and ask questions in there. I have not looked today - but as of yesterday there was only Tasks available for "pro-creators" - this is not an easy group to get into. You would have to make yourself known to the Founders.

Good to read this article @taskmaster4450 - it would be interesting to know what's behind @ned's vision of 100,000 businesses. I do lot of analysis about Total Addressable Market so looking at a particular products market share and their market opportunity, customer numbers vs whole market, and the value added to the business by gaining market share. It's not clear of the size and nature of the 100,000 businesses in the vision, but that is okay, be nice to have them on the blockchain regardless. I just imagine that the size of these businesses onboarded by @oracle-d might exceed that vision/expectation set by Ned, and to land deals bringing in $200k it is very promising. They might need support in SP delegation to attract some talent and bandwidth into their management team and go and build a sales pipeline of new investments.
Goodness. I can't wait to see where this goes. I can see working on both sides. In other words I would love to list to help and to get help.
I already logged on, and of course there isn't much on there, but I will be watching this one for sure.

Did you try the service yourself and what is your experience with it so far?
From the content creator perspective - I have registered as a content writer and I have found the experience very positive from both a community, camaraderie perspective, I have also had the secondary benefits of educating myself, earning some decent rewards on a the first task, and have met some good people and increased my reputation score by a whole percentage point in a week. All positives news so far.
From the Client Perspective- I have heard the Client is very pleased with the content creation and debate.

I'm always impressed by your ability to keep up to date with all things Steem. How do you find all these projects in the first place?
This is an excellent project and it's great to see more and more innovative entrepreneurial uses of the blockchain happening.
I've been taking part as a content creator and have found it really supportive and a great community. I'm really excited about the potential here.
100K entrepreneurs working on Steem Blockchain is truly an exceptional goal @ned has set for this community. In your blog, you have beautifully mentioned how sustainable business and content creation opportunities can be produced on the blockchain and how we can attract more investors by creating quality content.
@oracle-d is one project which can create and connect such entrepreneurs and help them run their individual businesses. Also, it is attracting outside investment/businesses, that eventually will contribute to price raise of STEEM. I am really excited and pumped to create awesome blogs and kick ass! :-D
