Unofficial BONUS PRIZES for original songs in English/Instrumentals in Steemit Open Mic Week 94

I give out a small unofficial award for some of my favorite original songs in English that are part of the Open Mic contest.

How do I participate?

• Make a valid entry to Open Mic.
• Make sure the title makes it clear that the song is original and in English or an instrumental.
• Be someone other than me.

(Sorry Spanish musicians. You guys are great but I don't understand well enough to evaluate the songs.)

Everyone I select gets these prizes:

My vote's kind of crap this week, sorry. It will be for a few weeks yet, though I'm going to take two of them off for vacation before too long. As usual there will probably be a second prize round; @pfunk already came along and voted the feeder post, and all author rewards from this post will go to the prizes as well. This is a pretty simple song, but I really love the simplicity of the lyrics and the available harmonies. The second time through I found myself picking up a baritone part, and I don't think it's the only one. Seems like a great song to teach to a large group that can do eight-part harmony on it.
