Lemon Tree es una canción de la banda alemana Fool's Garden, el tema trata sobre una persona que esta sola, esta encerrada, nos habla sobre un joven que se encuentra solo esperando por una persona. Este joven desea hacer muchas cosas, sin embargo lo único que logra hacer es quedarse en el mismo sitio y preguntarse. Se pregunta por qué y como después que la persona a la que espera le había prometido cielos azules, lo único que logra ver es un limonero amarillo.

Se podría decir que se juega con las metáforas, el cielo azul habla sobre la esperanza y todo lo bueno, mientras que el limonero representa la amargura. Pero existe un mito sobre este tema que cuenta que la novia de uno de los compositores, murió tras chocar su auto contra un limonero. De ser cierto esto la canción tendría un mensaje más comprensible.
