Un cálido saludo musical.

Fue en una caliente noche caribeña. Tula en su cuarto, tratando de dormir. Recordaba las palabras del sabio, “debes reconciliarte contigo misma”. ¿Te perdonaste todas las culpas, Tula? Sabía que para dormir bien debería llegar a hacerlo. ¿Hallaste las diez verdades del día? Tula no distingue ya la verdad de la mentira. Su alma seguía hambrienta. ¿te reíste hoy lo suficiente? Quizás. Pero de dónde la angustia, el nudo en el estómago. ¿estás en paz con dios y con el diablo? Y Tula rumiando. Las preguntas del sabio, la soledad, la noche, la ausencia, el corazón sangrando. Resignada, esperaba el día. Un calor sofocante inundaba su cuarto, y a esas horas solo deseaba despertar sobre el mar. Parece que al señor de los sueños le dio pena, porque finalmente vino por ella. Cerró sus párpados. Tocó su boca. Se apoderó de sus pensamientos, como dice el sabio. Tula, sin pensamientos, liviana como una pluma, se dejó llevar por extraños mundos de amor y locura. Y sucedió que se encendió como nunca. Su cuarto destellaba. Alguien gritó “Tula cogió candela!!” y todo el vecindario corrió para apagar el fuego. Allá fueron Ibrahim Ferrer, Elíades, Puntillita. Carlos se quedó mirando.
Son muchos los que no creen la historia del sabio y del señor de los sueños. Afirman que Tula se encendió porque se quedó dormida, no apagó la vela y ya.

I knew that in order to sleep well I would have to do it. Did you find the ten truths of the day? Tula no longer distinguishes the truth from the lie. His soul was still hungry. Did you laugh enough today? Perhaps. But where is the anguish, the knot in the stomach. Are you at peace with God and the devil? And Tula ruminating. The questions of the wise, the loneliness, the night, the absence, the bleeding heart. Resigned, she waited for the day. A suffocating heat flooded her room, and at that time she only wished to wake up on the sea. It seems that the lord of dreams felt sorry for her, because he finally came for her. He closed his eyelids. He touched her mouth. He seized her thoughts, as the sage says. Tula, without thoughts, light as a feather, let herself be carried away by strange worlds of love and madness. And it happened that it lit up like never before. His room flashed. Someone shouted "Tula caught fire!" and the whole neighborhood ran to put out the fire. There were Ibrahim Ferrer, Eliades, Puntillita. Carlos stared.
There are many who do not believe the story of the wise man and the lord of dreams. They affirm that Tula was lit because she fell asleep, she didn't extinguish the candle and that's it.
