Introduction

How's it going everyone. The post today is for a writing contest for @originalworks with the goal being to explain a new service called On.Live.

My goal is to explain it in the simplest way possible. If On.Live wants to really compete with other huge companies they need to be able to appeal to the masses. So it is important to just use as simple wording as possible.

What is On.Live?

Think of it like an online market where people can exchange money for a service. These services are provided through livestream and video calls. The goal of the website is to provide learning services like how to cook, how to play an instrument, or just learning more about something you want to learn about.

How Can I Make Money?

This is the important part. You basically get your own online office. You set up a web-page that is put on the platform of On.Live. You can have class/appointment times whenever you want. When you create your page it will ask you for what time you want to have your class/appointment, tags(these are important so your page comes up when searched for), and a description(this is important because people want to know a little bit about you before they buy into your class).

People can search the platform for what service they want. If you provide a service they are looking for, your page will pop up in the results. Then, they can click on your page and browse through what you wrote to see if you provide what they are looking for. If they are interested they can reach out to you through a dm or book an appointment.

All transaction are done through ONL tokens. These tokens will have a value connected to whatever currency you use in your county. That is the a big attraction of this site because it is decentralized. It's not controlled by any government.

Why give the website a shot?

I have to say the set up for your business seems very straightforward. It looks like On.Live did a good job making the site user friendly. There are a lot of skills we all have that could work on this website.

Here I made up a list of some ideas to get your brain running:

• how to cook
• how to speak a language
• how to improve your confidence
• how to do well on a standardized test (ACT,SAT,MCAT)
• how to dress
• how to become an amazing DOTA player
• how to take professional photos
• how to budget your vacation
• how to improve your sleeping habits

Make a list of a couple ideas. The things about being a teacher of something is that you don't need to be the best. You don't have to be the best guitar player to show someone the basics of a guitar. You don't have to know calculus to tutor a elementary school kid in math. The people who are best it their field are out there doing it!

Conclusion

On.Live is brand new. They are releasing it in around two weeks as of writing this post. The good part is they have waited to release a finished product. This is not a get rich quick scheme, but it does look like could be a potentially good way to get side income.
