So here in Michigan we have begun the nearly six months of living in a snow globe of clouded skies and no sun in sight.
Talk about needing an IV drip of vitamin D LOL!

Even though the weather was not too good, I went out for a nice walk in the morning and saw this pretty feather on the ground.
I was kind of chilly after my walk, so decided to make a big bowl of vegetable soup!
This is my kitchen sink soup because it has a bit of everything in it but the kitchen sink!
Winning 33 SBD was a good way to start the day off right. I did a post on it here

Here in the video I show what I bought.
Basically I bought a Blue Yeti microphone along with a pop filter and an extendable mic stand.
My son Ben has used a Blue forever and still likes it, so I thought I would try it too.
Dont Judge Me, But...
I saved $10 by ordering the white out edition. Ben has the blackout and it looks really cool.

Because its was Veterans Day
And my uncle was in the Big One, WW2,
I took some photos of my uncle's navy knife that I inherited.
My uncle was like a dad to me, and I owe him so much.
My uncle carved in the leather sheath all the places he had been while in the navy.
Of course, Julius being a good Hungarian name!

I love Lambrusco because it goes down like fruit juice...YUM!!!

I hope you had a Happy Veterans Day. Lots of activity here in the Metro area, as always. A lot of military presence here also. So many bases and forts circle the Pentagon which is filled with more military. So, these holidays are well presented.
Drinking and driving the computer? So it isn't so! Friends shouldn't let friends drive that keyboard drunk. You know what I mean? Here is hoping that Michigan has a few sunny days left before old man winter really sets in.

I'm glad that as you say Christmas has arrived early for you, I hope you enjoy the mouse pad and the Yeti microphone, what we do have to talk about is vitamin D, not intravenous, of course, but it is not a bad idea to take it in tablets (I'm telling you as a physician), 6 months without sun is a long time...
Yes indeed. A very good point. Many people in this area have vitamin D levels that are too low. I do in fact take the tablets. I think more and more people are becoming aware of it. Thank you for raising a serious side to my silliness! :)
Even in tropical countries there is deficiency of vitamin D, what can i say of areas where there is no sun, excellent that you take care of your bones, good for you :)
