Happy Birthday Harry Potter! - Sorting Hat Cake (And Oh, Day 41-60)

Hi Guys!

Are you a Potter-head? If so, then you know what today is, don't you?

Yep! It's Harry Potter's Birthday! Woo-hoo!

In all honesty, I love Harry Potter, but I have never read any of the books :P I love the movies. I feel like the books are more for kids and teens, maybe due to the books covers, you know. But for the movies, I enjoy it truly since I was in my mid 20s to this day! Hahahah I still can rewatch them over and over again, without getting bored whatsoever :P

So, to commemorate Harry's birthday today, I would like to share you this following cake I made awhile back, of Sorting Hat :D If you have read the book or seen the movies, or just Google around on Harry Potter-related, bet you know (or seen) it :D

The Sorting Hat is a sentient hat at Hogwarts that magically determines which of the four school Houses each new student belongs most to. These four Houses are Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. The Sorting Hat originally belonged to Godric Gryffindor, one of the founders of Hogwarts. - Pottermore

The cake was decorated with all things related to Harry Potter, obviously. Like the sweets (chocolate and jelly beans a.k.a Chocolate Frogs and Bertie Botts) he likes, his glasses, and the famous Golden Snitch :D

The Golden Snitch, often called simply the Snitch, is the third and smallest ball used in Quidditch. It is a walnut-sized gold-coloured sphere with silver wings. - harrypotter fandom site

To make the wings of the Snitch, I used edible paper btw. Too bad I run out edible golden shimmer, otherwise I would have smothered them everywhere just like fairy dust, to make it GOLD lol

Anyways. Beside "celebrating" Harry Potter's birthday, this is also a way for me to list my Day 41 to Day 60 of my 100 Days of Ukulele Learning, as the list is getting too long to be included on each of my Dtube post :P - I do not feel like making a separate blog just to list the days :P So don't mind me :P
