A dark star is a type of star that may have existed early in the universe before conventional stars were able to form. The stars would be composed mostly of normal matter, like modern stars, but a high concentration of neutralino dark matter within them would generate heat via annihilation reactions between the dark-matter particles. Very impressive artwork @thermoplastic, the pyramid looks like a reflective dark mirror. A lot of tentacles too, @nyarlathotep will love it:)

thank you - I wish I had a better photograph of it. The original is 10 times better (or 'was' - I don't know where it went)! However, I revived it in a more recent drawing, which I likely will post soon.

It may look redundant, but in order to get the image to show on twitter when shared, you have to upload one to the Steemit account.
Hmmm wasn't aware of that, at this point I thought it was pretty random but now that explains some things, not that I share my posts that much twitter though hehe
I do all the time, for my Visionary Art Twitter account which I embedded on the website, and I am not interested in just a line with a link, I want images.
This works if there is what is called a "twitter card" code on the post. Seems like steemit puts one on automatically.
Of course i get that haha we deal in images as visual artists, is where we derive our appealing power from
