From my representational phase - portrait of a lynx

In the early nineties in Canada, in the Northwest Territories as they were called then, I visited the area around Fort Smith, checking trap lines with some Native friends, where I also encountered several Lynx. This painting, from years earlier, was a gift to my hosts. Oh, forgot to mention: it was Christmas/New Year I spent there, and the average temperature was -35 Celsius.

Thank you - and after @artzone criticized me for not enough words, I added a little story about this painting.
The lowest i've been in, is -16 celsious, during my days in the army, winter of 2001-2002. Everything was frozen, and all public and private services too. It seems amazing to me how the people you met there live their routine in such temperatures. But, it works fine I guess, you can't do anything different, right? Nice painting too, I was struggling to find tentacles and dream patterns, but there are none ;)
under-25C rubber freezes- and your car tires, the little flat spot when you are parked is frozen, and when you drive, it feels like you drive a Flintstone car, until they warm up and run round again. You use at least twice as much fuel, and when you go to the movie, or shopping, you just keep the engine running. At home you have the electric block heater plugged in. You get used to it after a while. The coldest I experienced was -40C. If you are properly dressed, it is OK. But equipment malfunctions. I worked for the railroad as car inspector and also repairs, over 20 years, mostly outside in winter.
The guys I was out with were checking the trap lines on snow mobiles.
Tentacles and dream patterns - just make up your stuff. If you must, then check what you find under Cthulhu - input that into a image search.
