When posting content that either is owned by someone else or inspired by someone else’s works, it is proper to list the said source in your post with a link to the original.
Failing to do so is considered plagiarism, and could result in being blacklisted by curation groups or even flagged.
Examples include:
- Using another artist's original drawing/painting/digital art as a “study” or inspiration without linking the original and giving credit to the original artist.
- Linking to someone else’s YouTube video with no source.
- Using someone else’s photos or text without linking to the original source etc.

Hello friend, here I sent you a list of addresses of publications, , where I have been asked to reflect the reference image source of my drawings, actually I want to clarify, that my work in the drawing is based on making tutorials, by means of step by step photographs, textual explanations and some videos in advanced time of the procedure, my objective is to make known my technique and drawing procedures and share them with cartoonists who are starting and want to integrate in the drawing technique, mainly in pens, It is not my objective to plagiarize any type of art, I have made the mistake of using images of references, , without reflecting the source, but I have made my own visual art, starting from an image reference, using my own drawing technique and I have explained it , I know I made that mistake, and I want to apologize, it will not happen again.
. I want to record that I consider myself a cartoonist who has contributed in a very positive way, knowledge to this community, "Steemit", until now it is my priority in publications.
I have helped and guided many visual artists who are beginning, have attended and Answered infinities of messages that mainly relate to my publications that relate to the technique I use in most of my drawings, I recognize that you do an excellent job, I thank you for your interest in helping me correct my mistakes and improve my knowledge base to copyright laws, I hope to continue publishing my drawings and share artistic concerns, with the great community of artists who know me and in one way or another has made a bond of friendship and mutual cooperation, greetings friend and I wish many successes.
