Plein-air of an early bird

Today I got up early again and went to the open-air in the old quarter near the fortress. This time I had to go through several circles on the streets before I found a beautiful view. I climbed to the very top of the hill, squeezed between the stones in a narrow passage. Here I opened a wonderful panorama of the waking city.

The next important step was to find a place to which I could sit. Find it among the cactus was quite difficult.

Of course, no exit to the open air can do without the invasion of ants. This time they declared war on me.

I was also honored by a local dog. Praise the Lord that she was quite friendly. I had enough of the war with the ants.

After the dog’s visit, there was a visit by two ladies. It was very difficult for them to climb to the top of the stairs. They barely breathed. Both ladies showed a hefty interest in my strategic position, they were strongly interested in how to go for it.

This time I felt completely calm. The road to me was guarded by cacti and a narrow passage between the stones.

Early tourist birds, as they climbed the stairs, stared in amazement at the soles of my sandals. Each tourist considered it his duty to ask about how he can get to my specific site. To their questions, I solemnly answered, 'Seek ye, and ye shall find.'

A beautiful drawing as always!
I love how you do your works always get up early and look for nature, she is very inspiring and in her works that beauty is reflected. I like how you made the city and the roof. Every time you see that you meet so many things and battles like ants, they are a small but lethal rival in numbers and they are always united so you have to avoid them and more if you are in their territory, you are an intruder there ..

I love how you describe your adventure! that should be the best thing to draw in different places, it's like an adventure, you never know what will happen, the people as they will see you, the animals and the beautiful things you will see.
I really like the flower, here is a plant that has an equal or similar flower and is called "cayenne flower" is medicinal.
That words is very well said, the one who seeks always finds, very old but true.

Greetings Mr and Thank you for showing us the beauty of your city.

Thank you Yanes!

Thanks to you, for showing us your beautiful works.

Fresh and live! The picture shows us vivid air to be alive in the morning. How diligent you are. So good air we can breathe by the picture. show us more ~

Thanks for advise))))

I really like how you composed this post, @mister-omortson :) There is continuity to your previous post in which you talk about the challenge of getting to a nice and comfortable position to start painting, and it seems to me from your text that you did find the best spot! Although the ants were not happy about it..... XD

But the dog and the old ladies and the other visitors seem positively appreciative, or even envious, about your perching station :D I like how you implied their personalities in your write up <3

The picture is very beautifully done, too, I think that this is one of my favourites from your recent works ! I love how fine you draw the buildings, and I love how you shade and interpret the day's lighting on the vista and on the roofs and walls <3 Beautiful handling of shadows with the use of darker palette <3 <3 <3

And yay, the red flower is so pretty ! What a great reward ! (Please dont upvote my comment, I read all posts by habit before I comment, so it will be like rewarding a thing that is done anyway)

Love this post, @mister-omortson ! <3 Beautifully composed and beautifully illustrated <3

This is a great comment my friend! It's pleasure to read your meaning. I would write the same text for you but my English is too poor :)
I think you have there in Australia many beautiful landscapes and nice spots for painting.

I like the contrast of the light and shadows, the colors are beautiful. It’s been many years since I did a plein-air myself. You did find such a great spot for it! Great work!

You could start to do a plein-air again)

Yes, for sure when my kids will start school, I would love to do it.

What a great morning tubiste and how I envy the area where you live that you have to reach that beautiful view, every day your environment fills you with inspiration, which is great since that guarantees us that we will continue to see more of your precious watercolors for much more time, never stop and keep painting every day

I don't live there :)
