[CR] Looking for Adventures in Chickens Robots
Hello everyone! I hope you all are okay.
I continue with my bad habit of chewing more than I can bite hehe. This illustration was supposed to be my first entry to the science fiction contest sponsored by nTOPAZ. WHICH ENDED SIX DAYS !!! In my defense and due to my problem of not having internet, I found out about this contest when it was a week before it was finished; Science fiction is one of my favorite subjects, that's why I wanted to do a great job to participate, I wanted my illustration to be positive and show the adventure of moving forward with the help of technology, (I am one of those who see the future with optimism, I do not believe in apocalyptic futures)
I wanted to make a composition with several characters, elements and a landscape, and with my experience I calculated that it would take me about 3 days, but I did not count on external factors, which took away as much time as possible, work, family favors and duties, all made equipment to keep me busy without being able to draw, in conclusion I went through a crazy week.
get annoyed as they have no idea that I could not participate, I really like what I get with this job and it improves a lot with the natural backgrounds, and finally I learned to draw clouds well yay !!! I must not trust myself! I still have a lot to learn and improve.
The designs made in pencil
Sketches more defined in pencil
This boy with a friendly face, was a character that came to mind when I designed the robot hen, since that design was not included in my original idea, I just needed to know what profile theft was so I could do it in another one. angle, but I decided to include it in the composition and to do this I made this boy who is carrying a backpack to place it on the hook located behind the chicken, what looks like an armor in his arms is not, they are exoskeletons strength to move heavy objects very easily.
Final composition of the Sketches
As I mentioned earlier I would cut all the sketches in Photoshop to put together the composition which I would make in Illustrator. The idea changed a lot through the designs of the sketches, the final idea would be this, a pair of adventurous couple hiking, exploring and looking for some fun adventure.
I wanted to show that no matter how much progress this world is always in change and no matter how much we have explored, there will always be something new to discover, these guys in their machines are exploring some technological ruins, as there are machines buried and covered by nature reflecting How much time has passed there.
Curiosity is something that has made us advance a lot, and will continue to do so, taking us to discover surprising wonders, as this girl points out, to that huge floating bucket with energy rays, why is it there, what is its fusion and why does it do that?
IWith this GIF I show you the whole process of illustration
Each trace and node that make up the image

Oh wow! This looks great and so uniquely detailed. Amazing work with this!
And I can feel your pain on the missing opportunity. lol I feel that way even on missing simple timeline goals or I underestimate times on certain drawings. Well idk if it’s much but I gave you a big upvote and resteem for this to help spread this work to others. :3

fence thank you very much!
This is my first work with this level of detail, this work was a defeat and a victory at the same time, it was a frustrating defeat because this drawing was made exclusively for a contest, in which it could not be ready in time, and it is a Victory because with him I learned a lot and helped me improve.
And thank you very much for your valuable vote @bleuxwolf and for helping to spread my work
You're very welcome! Glad to help you out as much as I can at least. :) I wish I had more influence to push it further, but I don't have that level...yet. lol But yeah, you've certainly did a great job. Completing something of this detail is very rewarding regardless of circumstances.
Amazing characters all of them:) I loved that you presented them from scratch and gave us an idea of your creative process. Its a bummer that you missed the contest, i am sure this artwork would have been among the winners:)
Thanks @georgeboya as this is the first with the most elements I wanted to document the entire creative process that led me to create each element that makes up this work.
I thought I would have this job on time, but I didn't have several of the factors in my life that took a long time, T_T
This is really special awesome artwork.. I have never seen this kind of concept before... Really good work...
wow thanks, you made my day, saying that my work is that special, since this is the first time I have made a fund with so many details, these are the types of comments that motivate us to continue improving.
