Jump on the endless mirror - Adventure Bolivia

In January this year i travelled to Bolivia. One of the most anticipated spots to visit was; Salar de Uyuni. My absolute ‘favorite’ spot of the travel. We did stay the first nights very close to the Salar in a Hotel called Hotel Palacio de Sal. If you wanna treat yourself - its a great spot with a beautiful Spa area and pool. Very close to the Salar.

We did have a car hire and used it on the Salar. It was pretty easy drive but it took some courage in the beginning. We did interview a few guides that drive all around and they gave us the confidence that it it in fact easy. And it was.

After that rain from the many days before the salar had plenty of water to give us this huge mirror. The images we got are just so cool. We had such a great time there.

When you get to sucha spectacular spot you really need to get your drone out. I flew abit around to see how big that mirror actually is. Yes it seems endless.

The bolvianos are very proud that the Dakar Ralley comes through here so you'll find several of these salt monuments in different sizes.

What people don’t realize through a picture is the amazing sound scape.
The picture does not convey that. But the funny thing is; there is that beautiful silence.
One has to embrace it.

Later that in the afternoon we watched the most beautiful sunset. The sunset in one direction an thunder storms all around us on the horizon. What a drama. So nice pictures to share with you. Hope i can inspire you to visit Bolivia one day. I am so facinated i decided to go again. Just a matter of time 8)

Simply insane place and time for a photoshoot. Sometimes I'm catching here on Baltic the long slow wave, but happens not too much often

Introduction to nTOPAZ · Guide for CO, CR, and CU

Such a beautifully alive photograph. The action of the girl running, with her arm reaching out to the ocean, and her perfect reflection, against such an atmospheric oceanscape has created such a stunningly surreal impression.
