How to use Trusty wallet for NowCoin

Great news! TrustyFund Wallet now supports NowCoin! In this article I am going to walk you step by step on how to store your NowCoins in Trusty wallet.

STEP 1 - First of all, you need to head to Trusty.fund’s website (https://trusty.fund/)from your mobile device. Click on the ‘INVEST NOW’ button. (If you don’t have a smartphone, scroll down to the bottom of the article)

STEP 2 - Now you create your wallet. Select a username (or email address if you would like to sign up for Trusty's newsletter) and give it a PIN code - it serves as your password.

STEP 3 - In order to deposit funds to your account, you have to write down the 16-word backup phrase. This is very important as this phrase gives access to your wallet if you forget your password or lock yourself out from your account otherwise.

Please make sure you write down the 16 words somewhere safe, where only you can access it. The best practice is to write it down on a piece of paper.

STEP 4 - Once you wrote down the 16 words, you need to confirm it. And now you are ready to deposit funds to your wallet! Click on ‘DEPOSIT’ and select BTS. Select ‘BitShares direct transfer’ as payment method and click ‘COPY ADDRESS’ from below. Now you will have your wallet address on your clipboard.

STEP 5 - Go to BlockTrades's website (https://blocktrades.us/). Choose a cryptocurrency under ‘Send’ from which you will buy BitShares and select the amount you would like to buy. Then select BitShares under ‘Receive (estimated amount)’. Paste your wallet address to ‘Your receive address’. You can also add a memo to the transaction if you want.

After everything is set, click ‘Get a new Deposit Address’.

STEP 6 - Now you are given a deposit address, to which you will have to transfer the selected cryptocurrency. You can transfer any amount, but if you would like to receive a specific amount of BTS, calculate the price above and add the fee to it. The fee is indicated in the red bubble above your deposit address.

Please be careful, as lost funds can not be recovered if you send it to a wrong address!

Transfer the amount to the deposit address and wait for confirmations from the network. Once the transaction is completed, click on ‘CONFIRM’ and you are going to have the purchased BTS amount in your Trusty wallet.

STEP 7 - Now that you have BTS in your wallet, click ‘MANAGE FUNDS’. Adjust the percentage of your portfolio by pressing ‘ - ‘ next to BTS and pressing ‘ + ‘ next to NOWCOIN.

If you are set, click ‘UPGRADE PORTFOLIO’ and you are done!

You can access Trusty from your computer with a little trick! Go to https://trusty.fund/.

Right-click anywhere on the site and click ‘Inspect element’. You will see a tab opened on the right part of the window, click on the Computer/Phone icon on the upper left corner (a shown in the image).
