Brave New Day, @Rensoul17 I could not sleep after reading this prompt. Here's what I came up with for the bonus challenge: https://steemit.com/notsofreewrite/@yahialababidi/original-poem-mangata-not-so-freewrite-bonus-201814t93038433z

Should have something else for Round 1 (Mesmerizing) within a day or 2 :)

Oh, such a beautiful story. We are seriously in tune because when I sat up this weeks bonus round, the word Mangata was the first one to catch my eye and the romance with this foreign word, that's not foreign at all to my spirit began. For weeks to come, I think Mangata will be marinating in the soul of me. Awesome creation as usual @yahialababidi.

You have collected your daily Power Up! This post received an upvote worth of 1.28$.

good post

I might be doing this backward, but I decided to write for the bonus first and then go back and do round one. https://steemit.com/notsofreewrite/@brightguy/by-nature-s-guidance-mangata-not-so-freewrite-bonus

Let me know what you think and if you have any tips. Cheers!

Based on your request...if you have any tips. My tip to you @brightguy is I encourage you to resume writing fiction, like "Faction of Intelligence" that you wrote 3 months ago.

When I read it just now I saw that you were very much in your element and you have a gift for taking a true story and writing an alternate version of it. Its a unique writing style with a real magical ingredient of alchemy.
By that I mean it is possible to impact the life of someone even yourself if you wrote about their present life and go back in their past a bit and tell their story as if they made different choices and follow that life path out and tell that story.
Or if you felt like your life is not what you would like it to be and you sat down and wrote a different version for yourself on into the future it would resonate and have an effect your life in some way. Also do research on the term 'course correct' it somewhat pertains to altering storylines. Writing fiction is your gift and don't pay attention to the numbers or the upvotes from one part of the story to the next just do you.
Because people may like one part and don't like another and sometimes they show up for one part of the story but don't come back.

But if you remain consistent you will gain loyal readers that will keep coming back as they get hooked on the characters and share your vision of the stories you tell. I hope something I said helped.

Thanks! That was very informative and helpful. I've been wanting to continue 'Faction of Intelligence' but got distracted with life. You've motivated me to pick it back up.

Thanks for your entry @brightguy, it does not matter which round you do first. As a writing artist, we must always follow the intuition of our personal authentic process. I found your story to be intriguing and engaging with an air of mystery. Well done.
