Crocuses, beautiful flowers. In our area they do not grow, to my regret. sometimes you can see them on sale. They are planted in pots. The most precious spice, precisely in these colors. Do you collect the stamens of crocus flowers? This is saffron. Thank you for giving us a look at these flowers in the wild! Lovely snapshots.

It's evident that you know where the precious spice, saffron comes.
Unfortunately, I have not collected this spice from crocus.
It will take many flowers to collect a few grams of this costly spice, and it's not in my garden these crocuses grow.
For a good roast you need quite a bit of dried flower stamen. With a dozen flowers, three dozen stamens will turn out. This is quite enough for color and taste.
Perhaps I should try to collect some and try their taste.
