Flowers, an early sign of spring in the garden
It is always nice when the first signs that spring comes after time with both snows, ice and cold.
In nature, many flowers signal that spring is coming.
Today I was out with the camera to take photos of the first spring flowers, and among the earliest flowers is the crocus.
There were a few days of warmer weather where the sun has warmed well.
Then the crocus has arrived and lights up in the gardens of the neighbourhood.
The pictures show some examples of how beautiful these flowers can be.

I think that crocus is gorgeous flowers.
Crocuses, beautiful flowers. In our area they do not grow, to my regret. sometimes you can see them on sale. They are planted in pots. The most precious spice, precisely in these colors. It's evident that you know where the precious spice, saffron comes.
Unfortunately, I have not collected this spice from crocus.
It will take many flowers to collect a few grams of this costly spice, and it's not in my garden these crocuses grow.
For a good roast you need quite a bit of dried flower stamen. With a dozen flowers, three dozen stamens will turn out. This is quite enough for color and taste.
Perhaps I should try to collect some and try their taste.
