Fake or Genuine: Check Your Nokia Phone’s Authenticity via SMS
Mobile phone scams and unauthorized dealers selling stolen or smuggled devices is no news in Pakistan. To avail warranties and company benefits, its important that your mobile phone is genuine and verifiable.
To help you verify whether your Nokia phone is company registered or not, Advance Telecom has started an IMEI-check service which allows you to send an SMS containing your Nokia phone’s IMEI to the company to get a verification of registry via text message. This will also confirm if your device is eligible for a 100% warranty claim.
Procedure
Text your IMEI number to 8797 using one of these formats:
nokia Space IMEI
nok Space IMEI
NOKIA Space IMEI
nokiaIMEI
Only the verified devices which are company registered will receive a responding text message and will be eligible to a 100% warranty claim. This will ensure that the buyer gets to know whether their device is genuine and locally supported by Advance Telecom.
