It is a preview of how the new shield generator building will work.
You can charge the "battery" of the shield generator. Once it is fully charged you can activate a shield which will prevent stealing of resources.
OK. I get this... but what about the -10% income?
That's is the cost for charging. You will get 10% less from your mine during the time that you charge.
thx.. that sounds a bit complicated and not directly obvious.. I mean charging should maybe cost coal and/or uranium because of the energy necessary.. but why should a shield charge decrease mine production?
The shield generator is there to prevent stealing of resources. If you are under constant attack you should still be able to use the shield generator. You would not be able to pay for the shield generator with resources if you are constantly looted. Thus the resources is taken from the income instead to always allow usage of the shield generator even if you are under constant attack.

Man könnte Nextcolony auch umbenennen. Damit es sich fränkischer anhört, schließlich werden die Franken den Steem als erstes Massenadaptieren.

Ok, ich bin in den Themen hinter her und schau mir das mal genauer an. Zeichnen über den Computer ist bestimmt gut für das ein oder andere. Danke dir für den Tipp.

Charge will fill up the "battery" of the shield generator and will allow to activate it to gain protection.
Thank you! Does that mean that the "battery" can also empty out? If so, what causes it to discharge? Time? Attacks?
