Steem At 12 Cents, Are You Dumping or Buying?

In the past eighteen months or thereabouts, the price of Steem has been on a downward trend. As I write, Steem is presently trading at $.12, which is just a cent above the lowest price we've seen this year.

I remember that in the January of 2018, when the price of Steem was at its peak, there were quite a number of folks here who often complained that the whales had an unfair advantage because they had the opportunity of buying bags of Steem when it was incredibly cheap.

Today, from a peak of about $7.3 and over a period of about two years Steem has fallen to 12 cents. And I keep wondering why the complainants have gone into hibernation, why they are not buying Steem. Are they waiting for a further crash?

I have come to discover that what most people do is to complain and keep complaining without taking the necessary actions. Tomorrow, Steem will rise again and the same folks will return to lament again, regretting why they didn't buy when it was cheap.

While I admit that there is no guarantee that Steem has finally bottomed out but the present price is a good entry point for those who see the opportunities ahead.

As for me, I have taken advantage of the present market price by investing in Steem on my road to hitting 10k Steem power. Will you keep complaining or take the bull by the horn and turn the tides in your favour? The ball is on your court. Until I come your way again, I wish you a full Steem ahead.

That is not necessarily correct. If you look at the last 10 years of cryptocurrencies there are many blockchains that did essentially die. Steem might go back up or it might spiral downward to a slow death.

I'm not saying that is what I want to happen, but we can't just say it will rise again. Nobody knows for a fact that it will happen. Quite to the contrary, HF21 was a very contentious fork that caused quite a few people to power down and leave. Others that have not yet left do complain that #NewSteem is a toxic environment with all the downvoting.

If we look at the situation clearly, we see that Steem has a serious onboarding problem and many of the members it currently has are disgruntled.

The future is precisely unpredictable, but I want to share that optimism that shows that the steem blockchain will raise its prices again and be attractive to new participants.

As for the people who complain ... there will always be people who are dissatisfied and worse, people who do nothing to fix the things for which they constantly complain and bother.

I have to congratulate you for betting on steem and give you my best wishes for you to see in a short time the fruit of your investment.

Personally, I would like this project to take flight and improve the current situation.

@gandhibaba, Not dumping nor buying. But i am a Full Time Steemian so i am continuing with my Steem Activities. Stay blessed brother.

Hello appreciated @gandhibaba.

There are several ways to promote the growth of our community and our currency. Staking steem is necessary, either by buying or earning it with posting. The important thing is to stake it.

You're right, many complained when steem was worth 8 usd, now those same people complain because it's worth 0.12 usd. Then it is very difficult to please them.

I congratulate you for increasing your stake and I am sure you will soon reach 10K. Good luck brother!

Your friend, Juan.
