Nasa without fuel.
As it turns out, Nasa is facing a problem. The fuel is used for many of her missions is running low. Nasa uses Plutonium, which mostly originates from the Cold War, could be depleted by 2025.
NASA is running out of fuel according to an investigation by the US Court of Auditors. This could jeopardize the exploration of the solar system. As solar energy is not sufficient for many missions of the US space agency, the element plutonium-238 has been used until now. This is a radioisotope whose heat can be converted into electricity.
