Advancements in Virtual Reality technology are opening doors for new words we yet have to discover. As VR sets become more accessible and easy to use, the new medium will become an integral part of our everyday life. Just like the internet and mobile devices came into our lives, the immersive VR world of the future will revolutionize once again the way we think about multimedia. Japan is one of the leading payers in VR developments, and just recently they have released a simulation of a DJ game.
Without checking the VR app itself in question, if it has the ability to actually record within the app, then the answer to who in the world would want to use this, is anyone who wants to make music but cannot afford the real hardware. The more I use my Gear VR the more I see the majority of experiences Oculus offers are for things that one could not normally afford to do or the interest in whatever the activity is not enough to merit a real life purchase but just a piece of what something feels like (in this case DJing). I enjoy the really well done VR roller coasters, it is not the same as a real one, but then again a real one takes standing in line for hours plus a $60+ ticket to a theme park, plus having to buy food at the park, plus I can't ride the coaster while I'm on the potty (okay I haven't done this before, but the day is young).
I'm just curious to what extent this technology will replace many of today's activities. I guess it's up to each and every one of us to decide how much VR will become a part of our reality.
Nice bro, i love discovering new words
Who doesn't? :)
Yeah it's right just like you said the VR world can never replace the real world experience but maybe it can who knows what we can advance in next 50 years or maybe 100 years, these simple VR, AR and holographic projection was just a dream 15 years ago from now.
Maybe in the future we will have VR experience with all kind of sensors that gives senses to touch and all kind of things that you can imagine if you are into sci-fi.
The VR industry is still very young and has lots of rooms for opportunities. As a VR developer I can say that it's a game changer and next level for lots of things for example education like training Mars Landers astronauts, pilots, surgeons etc.
If someone wants to join the discussion I can elaborate more with detailed examples.
Take a look at my recent funny post 😀
