Alliances Galvanize Against Israel And All Prepare For Battle

Between Israel and Syria, little love is lost. Between Syria's allies in Iran, Iraq, and Lebanon, there is a shared animosity toward Israel which is readily returned.

That return usually involves some real-world casualties instead of mere hurt feelings. Since Israel's fighter jet was shot down recently, both sides are making clear how ready and willing they will be if a war erupts between them.

Israel has just moved a large group of missile defense batteries have been filmed moving north at Baka al-Gharbiya. The city is just south of the ceasefire line between Israel and Syria in the Golan, where most armed conflicts occur for Israel. Just north of there, Hezbollah and even Iranian forces attempt to establish firm footholds, even while being repeatedly targetted by Israeli airstrikes.

Iraq and the Lebanese Hezbollah have been warm allies in defense of Assad's Syria. Also during that time, Iran has given massive support to Hezbollah, intending to use them as a powerful proxy force and an ally against Israel when the time comes, presumably when Syria is stabilized as a military ally. Israel's airstrikes in Syria only make that coalition more appealing to Assad, but they refuse to allow threats from gaining footholds on their borders. Putin repeatedly attempts to use Russian influence to prevent Syria and Israel from war, but tensions continue to rise.

Back to Iraq, their military officials have just declared to Hezbollah that they would serve as their close allies again if such a war occurred against Israel. If such a war spans across southern Syria as well as other countries just north of Israel, it would bring into question the potential involvement of each nation's much larger allies, and the several conflicts of interest bound to occur.

At any rate, it looks as though we will see a multinational war with Israel as the prize very soon.
