Keiser Report: #Carmageddon (E1086)

[Este episodio en Español] New subprime crisis is here! Wait! What is subprime?

Subprime is a classification of borrowers with a tarnished or limited credit history. Lenders will use a credit scoring system to determine which loans a borrower may qualify for. Subprime loans carry more credit risk, and as such, will carry higher interest rates as well. Approximately 25% of mortgage originations are classified as subprime.

It's a sad story of a desperate search for a yield. Which usually can only end in two ways: with an extermination of Wall Street cockroaches or a horrific death. Max and Stacy are explaining how to avoid that unwanted one.

In this episode of the Keiser Report, Max and Stacy discuss [hashtag]carmageddon and the toxic debts that have brought the credit markets to such a scary place.

Trip to Cuba

In the second half, Max continues his interview with journalist and businessman, Vito Echevarria of Cuba Ventures Corp., about the latest in the US-Cuba relationship and how much of Obama’s progress is likely or not to be rolled back.

Mr. Echevarria is a New York-based journalist who graduated from Fordham University with a BA in political science, while later attending courses at the University of Miami School Of Law. Mr. Echevarria specializes in Cuba's foreign investment landscape.

Mr. Echevarria first visited Havana in 1996 to cover the island's emerging biotechnology sector for America Economia, a Dow Jones business monthly magazine based in Santiago, Chile. Since then, Mr. Echevarria has written extensively for the Miami-based publication “CubaNews” (now CubaStandard) — covering Cuba's de facto transition from Marxism to state-controlled capitalism, while profiling a variety of foreign companies and entrepreneurs vested in Cuba’s energy, real estate, information technology, hospitality, agribusiness, tourism and numerous other sectors.

It is better not to borrow

Right @dobro88888888. There's a saying: “Debt is ill-fated companion”. But this situation is even worse – whole nations are being pushed into debt without any of their consent or even knowledge!

regards@lighteye. It is necessary to learn from mistakes and not to repeat them.

Better to keep blogging at steemit and make steady income than borrow and be in debt..good post
