EU and the JCPOA Withdrawal
[Текст на српском] After Trump announced withdrawal from the JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action) with Iran, the rift was open between US and EU. Destroying the only good thing that Obama has done was easily predictable after the choice of new key people in Trump’s administration, and Iran’s ditching the dollar in favor of euro. But the tab for this breakup will again pick up corporations from the EU territory…
Yesterday, rogue US regime’s Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, has threatened Iran the ‘worst sanctions ever’, as he unveiled 12 demands against Tehran.

All of them are, of course, completely senseless and clearly aimed at government overthrow, or propaganda preparation for military intervention. What else does Mike Pompeo know? Like he was educated for diplomacy…
But this time it won't be so easy. For an attack on Iran, there will be necessary to create a wide coalition, and EU states must be a part of that alliance. Willy-nilly. New US Ambassador in Berlin directly threatened to the EU corporations which were still in business with Iran. As if that was not enough, Washington has warned that proceeding with the Russian-led gas pipeline project, aimed at bringing natural gas to Germany's northeastern Baltic coast, could result in sanctions for those involved.

Nobody likes to be blackmailed. Trump has technically gone to a trade war against the whole World, and he is now showing that US does not have a partners any more — it only has colonies. So, how will EU resistance end up? Can they resist? No, they can’t. US has all the necessary tools for keeping EU in line. They can only chose one of two bad scenarios:
If they really push into resistance, they will be broken through shear financial-economic power of US plutocracy and their neo-liberal puppets strategically deployed in the right places of the EU bureaucracy. Economic crash then easily can grow up into a full fledged civil war in Europe — all the ingredients would be in place: great dissatisfaction of the people with the alienated Brussels bureaucracy, drastic fall in living standard, massive immigration…
If they surrender to US demands they will have the same, only a little bit later. Their corporations are already losing astounding 100 billion dollars a year from the anti-Russian sanctions, and Iran sanctions will add another 25 billion dollars a year. Breaking up the Nord Stream 2 would leave EU (and particularly Germany) without cheap gas, which makes them competitive on the World market. So, their place will take Chinese and Russian companies. That will again lead to greater unemployment, new dissatisfaction of the people with the alienated Brussels bureaucracy, drastic fall in living standard, rift because of a massive new wave of immigration, this time because of the war with Iran…
Unfortunately, this is not just my opinion. It's a trend.
