Next week in new Hampshire takes effect bill 436, which frees individuals using bitcoin for remittances, from having to register as money transfer operators.
In April, the bill was submitted on consideration in the state Senate. Following the vote, House of representatives gave 185 votes FOR and 170 AGAINST, the Senate –13-10. Thanks to new rules, new Hampshire adheres to a fundamentally different approach to the regulation of digital currencies compared to other U.S. States.
The Governor of another state – Delaware – has signed a bill on the use of the blockchain for transactions with securities.
In April, a group of lawyers in the state (DSBA) has approved amendments to the law to allow businesses in the state to use the blockchain for maintaining corporate records.
Amendments to the existing laws of the state of Delaware was adopted almost unanimously. This completes an initiative that began in may 2016, when the ex-Governor of Delaware Jack Markell (Jack Markell) announced plans of the state to provide the regulatory environment for the development of the technology of the blockchain and "smart contracts", which will help to attract a Delaware company engaged in pineham.
