Apple partners with GoldmanSachs for their new credit card business／アップルがクレジットカードビジネスに参入
アップルがゴールドマンサックスと組んで夏にアメリカでApple Card（クレジットカード）を発行することを発表しました。
通常の物理カードとネット上で利用できるバーチャルカードの2種類をローンチするようですが、物理カードがおもしろそうです。
券面がロゴと名前とICチップだけで、カード番号や有効期限といったこれまでのクレジットカードにあるような情報を限りなく削ぎ落してスタイリッシュな形に仕上げています。

しかもカードはプラスチックではなく、チタン製カードになります。
日本で金属カードを発行しているクレジットカードといえばアメックスプラチナ（年会費13万円+税、昨年11月から）かラグジュアリーカード（年会費5万円～20万円+税）くらいでいずれも高額な年会費のステータスカードです。
Apple Cardはカード発行や年会費やその他手数料は全て無料とするそうです。
また、還元率も
- Apple Storeでの利用で3%
- Apple Payでの支払いで2%
- 通常の支払いで1%
とかなりいいベネフィットを提供しています。
カードビジネス単体で見たときに採算が取れるのか謎ですが、楽天のように本業で稼いで他のサービスで囲いこみできるようなビジネスモデルですと利用者にとってうれしいエッジの効いたことができていいですね。
CNBCの報道によるとアメリカ以外にも展開するようですが、日本に進出するときはどのようなサービス内容になるのか気になります。

Apple announced that they will launch Apple Card(credit card) with Goldman Sachs this summer in US.
There will be both physical card and virtual card as a lineup.
An unique design with the physical card that they only have logo, name and the IC chip to the card face. It does not contain the card numbers or other info which is usually displayed on ordinary credit cards.

And the card will be made by titanium, not plastic.
If you want metal card in Japan, only AMEX Platinum(Annual fee: JPY130K = $1.2K) and LUXUARY Card(Annual fee: JPY50K-JPY200K = $460-$1.8K) issues it which you have to pay a lot to be a card holder/user.
Apple says they will not charge any fees on Apple Card.
And the card benefit looks nice.
As CNBC is reporting, they will release it globally and hope Japan will be included soon.

当然、将来的には、カードビジネスとiPhoneのインフラも合わせて整備するってことですよね
今までのありきたりなカードの使い方とは一線を画したモデルになるとおもしろいですね
