Video Footage From Turkey - Erdogan Supporters Celebrate Election Victory In Istanbul

Supporters of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan celebrate his 2018 presidential election victory in the heart of Istanbul. They scream chants like Allahu Akbar and sing Erdogan's name. This celebration included a march up and down Istanbul's busy Istiklal Avenue and a stop at the famous Taksim Square where they gathered around the monument to the Turkish Republic that glorifies Ataturk, the founder of modern, secular Turkey. The celebration briefly paused during the call to prayer.
