One Charge Dropped For Bundy's Former Lawyer
There are a number of trials currently taking place and soon to take place, regarding the popularly televised standoff between the Bundy's and the state; from numerous instances. Ammon Bundy's former attorney, Marcus Mumford, last year had been charged with three misdemeanor counts after things got heated in the courtroom and U.S. marshals had to allegedly tackle him and use a stun gun on him. For one of those charges, of the three he was laid with, a judge just recently ruled to dismiss it; the count of creating disturbances by impeding or attempting to disrupt the performance of official duties.
The U.S. District Court Judge, John Coughenour, dismissed only the one charged and he also ordered that Mumford face a judge for the remaining two charges, not a jury.
The other two counts involve allegations of failing to comply with signs of prohibitory, regulatory, and directory nature, and also a count over a failure to comply with lawful direction of a federal officer.
The charges stem from an incident last fall where Mumford argued that Bundy should be let go and set free because he had (along with a number of other individuals) been acquitted/found not guilty by a jury. However, he wasn't let go because he was also facing different charges involving an incident in Nevada that took place.
The judge ordered that Bundy had to remain in the custody of the U.S. marshals, Mumford disagreed and repeatedly reiterated that Bundy was/should be free to go. Him and the judge kept arguing and the argument got so out of hand that they used a stun gun in order to stop him from arguing with them.

The only thing that's going to help the Bundys is a pardon from Trump because the 9th circuit is going to screw them over.
