Bundy Trial Expected To Start Next Week
There are a number of trials that will soon be underway involving the Bundy family, and one of them involving Bundy and his supporters is expected to start next week. Starting on Monday, a new trial starts for six individuals who have been charged with a variety of crimes including conspiracy to commit an assault against the United States, threats, and more. Their charges relate to the Bunkerville standoff in Nevada that occurred more than a year ago, back in 2014.
The event was widely publicized after Bundy and his supporters came into conflict with the BLM (Bureau of Land Management) when they tried to seize Bundy's cattle.
A motion has also recently been filed by lawyers with the Las Vegas Review-Journal, seeking to access the information about the jury in the upcoming trial that's expected to take place. They argue that the 4th amendment guarantees open trials and along with that comes the right to know information about the case, including information about the jurors involved.
In a separate trial, Ryan Bundy recently testified and argued that he believed that the wrong people are currently being held in jail over the matter. Ryan Bundy himself has already been behind bars for over a year. Surprisingly, Bundy decided to represent himself in court and he continues to argue that the BLM were in the wrong and were the aggressors in the situation that occurred.
Monday's jury trial next week is for defendants Richard Lovelien, Todd Engel, Gregory Burleson, Eric Parker, O. Scott Drexler and Steven Stewart.
Apparently, one attorney that has been involved in the case and representing the Bundy's, has had three charges filed against him over an incident where federal marshals had to tackle him because he refused to stop arguing with the judge. The attorney, Marcus Mumford, has been accused of disrupting official government duties, failure to comply with the lawful direction of a federal officer, and more.
Overall, there are 3 different trials for the 17 men that have been accused of conspiring with Bundy against federal against. The first trial is going to involve the 6 defendants (mentioned above), followed by a second trial involving Bundy and his sons Ammon and Ryan, and a third trial for the rest. The government continues to refer to the other defendants as “ followers and gunmen” and according to jury summonses that have been distributed, the trial could take anywhere up to 5 months or more.

This was a movement with a standoff for a day, people coming equipped with guns and armor, rifles .. Believe me , we deal with this same situation all the time here in Canada , and its not nice but its the way of the world these days ! We live in very trying times and bad econymies all over the world , social media doent help , all they do is stir things up , and make more people mad for no reason , i hope you find the answers your looking for , but more often then not the president has nothing to do with it , and nothing he can change about it !
