Inverting Reality: Photos of Anti-Government 'Protests' in Iran (Used By Western Media) Turn Out To Be Images from "Pro-Government Marches"
Once again it looks like another regime change agenda of the US Empire is being foisted on another country through nefarious means with western media outlets, corrupt politicians and misleading cheerleading pundits all attempting to steer the public in the same direction towards the overthrow of the Iranian government.
Over the last 4 days, a number of western media outlets have published front page stories depicting large scale protests across Iran, however, these stories are now all suspect of being untrue due to the fact that many of the images being used in these stories actually come from pro-government support rallies and marches. Once again, western media outlets have been caught inverting the truth and attempting to shape false perceptions regarding real events in the Middle East.
On January 3, 2018 Canada based CTV presented the following material from the Associated Press headlined "Anti-Government Protests in Iran" with numerous images of people marching in Iran. However, the large majority of the images with the largest crowds shown by CTV were actually from Pro-Iranian government marches that took place that very same day. These images were mixed in with a few deceptively titled anti-government protest images. This deliberate obfuscation of events shows that once again the waters are being muddied and another regime change agenda implemented by the US Empire is underway.
Note the headline of the CTV material and then note the captions to the right of each image.

Now note how the truth is told in some images but not others, while the headline stays the same at all times above all of the images.

Then a little more truth, note image is shown as just a few individuals who are holding anti-Israel placards rather than the large crowds of tens of thousands that were attending the pro-government/anti-Israel marches.
Now the small bands of anti-Iranian government protesters are thrown into the mix. Note also how the Associated Press provides itself plausible deniability from responsibility and accountability by stating these images were NOT provided by an AP employee.
Then at the conclusion of the media comes one more shot of Iranian clerics and other pro-government supporters under the false headline.
Now lets look at recent videos showing the size of the pro-Iranian government support rallies that the western media intentionally neglected to report on. Propaganda by omission is a common practice of corrupt western media outlets in the new era of fake news. Here we have 3 examples of large rallies in various cities.

When researching this material online I came across a Facebook post showing Press TV's live helicopter fly overs of the marches that confirm the information I have posted above. However, when I tried to share it the link was immediately "marked as spam" by Facebook. Thus, I had to notify the friend I was trying to share it with that the comment was being "marked as spam". The friend was then able to finally share it and left a note that Facebook was marking it as spam, thereby previously making it invisible to others.

This post is put together to help prevent another horrific war and an exacerbation of conflicts that could lead to full out global warfare occurring. We live in dangerous times and citizens deserve the truth from our own elected leaders, media outlets and governments. The truth should not be manipulated, portrayed inaccurately or censored in any way, shape or form by media outlets that citizens are depending on. The information presented above leaves little doubt that the Associated Press has intentionally put out a massive fake news story when it comes to the current events happening in Iran.

I had seen the MoA post earlier, but I was not aware of the AP doctoring, and switching photos from the larger pro-government rallies with smaller economic protests.
I had gathered mostly from MoA that paid agents provocateur had infiltrated the protests about economic hardship and hijacked them to spout antigovernment propaganda.
It is because crap like this is so often done that I feel the era of public marches and the like is in the past. I reckon people can better effect change via other means, now that the internet is available.
Anonymous hacking and defacing sites can actually reach more people than graffiti on gummint buildings, sometimes, for example.
Thanks for graphically showing how AP is lying to fool folks into thinking that organic Iranian protests were happening, other than to complain about inflation.
Yep, judging from what I am seeing on some of the Facebook pages of Sayed Mousavi and Professor Tim Anderson the majority of the anti-government "real" protests are quite small in number overall. The anti-government protest crowd in Tehran looked to be around 500 people and the one in Abhar was estimated at between 500 to 1000. Approximately 30 other cities were pulling between 50 to 300 protesters. Considering that Tehran has a metropolitan population of approximately 15 million people, that number is quite miniscule, to say the least.
Adversely, attendees at the pro government marches were estimated in the hundreds of thousands.
I was not aware of the image doctoring. I also will be doing a post about the Iran situation later this week. The more sources of info I can find the better.

The photo you show above is from the screen cap from the full video I placed above at the Facebook link. People can judge for themselves the size of the crowd via that live PressTV helicopter feed. It is not my role to judge marchers based upon their ethnic and religious proclivities. My purpose for this post is to demonstrate clearly that western media sources misrepresented the facts once again. It is also not my role to judge based upon emotions. For this post, I simply focused on what the media reported and what actually took place according to the information I could ascertain. Final note - I don't doubt that some people hate their government in Iran, same as in many other countries.
