A fraudster from Thailand sentenced to 13,275 years in Jail (Prison)
A Thailand court has sentenced a cheater into prison for 13275 years....
A thirty for years man who admitted to the court , on last friday that he was involved in running a ponzi scheme and he collect $160 million from more than 40000 people as investment in company. He promised investors, they will get high returns against their investments.
The court found him engaged in unauthorized lending and total 2653 victims file a FIR against him. Due to his confession, the court bisect his sentence for 6635 years. He commonly organized many seminars , where he misguides and motivates attendees to invest where he suggest and they will surely get high returns.
This is not only ponzi scheme but also a pyramid scheme, where he encouraged investor to also participate their incentive scheme. If anyone introduce any person in this scheme , the leading person will be rewarded with some monetary benefits. With all he and his firm were ordered to return around $17 million to 2653 identified victims with up to 7.5% interest per year.
