Hope you all are doing well. My name is HAMMAD UDDIN and I'm from Karachi, Pakistan. I was introduced to Steemit by my friend from which I get the basics of cryptocurrency and Steem. I'm very grateful for having such a supportive group of people working on Steemit. I have completed my Achievement no1 task and now I'm looking forward to becoming a Verified Achievement no 2 user. Let's move onto the questions for Basic Security on Steem assigned by @cryptokannon.

Question 1: Have you retrieved all your keys on steemit?
Answer: Yes, I have successfully retrieved all my keys and as per the guidelines I have also saved them.

Question2 :Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?
Answer: Yes, I do know the restriction and function of all my keys and account.

Master Password:
On the top of the list master password is a major access to your account. It can be used to derive all the keys of your account. In other words, if someone may know our master password he/she can break into your wallet and can steal your tokens. It's one of the crucial passwords.

Posting key :
The posting key allows accounts to post, comment, edit, vote, resteem, and follow or mute other accounts. Most users should be logging into Steemit every day with the posting key. You are more likely to have your password or key compromised the more you use it so a limited posting key exists to restrict the damage that a compromised account key would cause.

Active key :
The active key is meant for more sensitive tasks such as transferring funds, power up/down transactions, converting Steem Dollars, voting for witnesses, updating profile details and avatar, and placing a market order.

Owner key :
The owner key is only meant for use when necessary. It is the most powerful key because it can change any key of an account, including the owner key. Ideally, it is meant to be stored offline, and only used to recover a compromised account.

Memo key :
This key is used for encrypting and decrypting memos when transferring funds. In order to encrypt a memo, use the
pound/# sign before it.

Question 3 : How do you plan to keep your master password?
Answer: I have successfully saved it on the hard drive of my computer and I'll also make a hard & soft copy of it.i also made a pdf and save it to all my accounts.

Question 4: Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?
Answer: Yes, I know how to transfer the funds.

STEPS:
1: Click on the wallet.
2: For transferring funds click on the upside-down triangle on the right.
3: Click on the transfer option.

This is how You can transfer your funds easily by following these above steps.

Question 5: Do you know how to power up your STEEM?
Answer: Yes i know how to power up my steem easily.

This is how a user can power up his Steem tokens.
Now, just click on power-up and give the amount you want to power up.
