Butterfly Festival and 100 followers!!! Thank you All!
Thank you all!
Twenty three days ago today I made a post to give a big thanks to the people that helped me at the very start of my Steemit career. You can follower that link to find them and support their work 😀 Now, that I have made it to over 100, I want to give a big thanks to everyone that followed me at the start and extend it to my new followers!!
All 59 of you guys. I did the math about 3 times, I gained 59 new people and lost 3 followers, two of which were bots. 😂 I do check on these things, and I hope I can keep this up for the future as well. Your comments mean a lot to me as I continue to grow on the platform. If my quality appears to fall in the future, please tell me. I strive to improve everyday but I am only human after all 😁
Shout out to the 59 new faces!! Thank you!!

Now the other part of this post! The Butterfly Festival!!
Special shout out to @violetmed and @vannour, these photos are especially for you guys 😁

There were a lot of things to see at the festival. So, I am just including the butterflies themselves in this post and have a post dedicated to the flowers and museum later 😊
Outside Shots
These first few were outside in the plaza.
It looked like these two were playing 😄
Also got some bees in here as well 😍 It makes up for not getting them during the cherry blossom festival I guess 😂
Inside the Greenhouse
We then went to the greenhouse were they keep caterpillars to grow up.
I think this area is more for children to learn about their life cycle.
Just look at how many there are!!
This was cool, I bet if you get here at the right time, you can see a bunch of Butterflies emerge! 😍
Speaking of which time for the adults 😁
Look at this guy freaking go!!! Wish I had that slo cam setting to catch this. Oh well, maybe when I get a new phone 😀
Unfortunately not all is pretty
Having a bunch of small children, they try to catch the butterflies and this is wht happens 😢 They don't mean to but they don't understand how gentle they are.
If you have children and bring them here, it is important to teach them to look but don't touch their wings. Poor things... I guess some kids got the full lesson on the life cycle 😭
They were also selling butterflies in plastic cups, so I hope that they let them go outside and did not try to keep them pets. 😔
Anyways...
Here are some displays of what I believe are butterflies from around the world 🤗
So those were the best butterfly photos that I took yesterday 😁 I hope you all enjoyed what I shared. For the future, I hope we can all be butterflies and pollinate each others post allowing the Steemit community to flourish like a field of wildflowers! Thank you all once again!
Next goal will be 250!

Thank you very much for your interest and we hope to read some great travel articles from you soon!
Regards,
@travelfeed
P.S. - sorry, but we require 250 words related to travel subject... we cannot count your intro in... sorry again.
Do you not count photo captions? The 250 is only for paragraphs? I want to be clear for future post. 😊
Well, the intro is not where the story begins 😉 But, basically, we count everything travel related. We try to be fair!
I have just checked again and turns out it has more than 250 words. Somehow it went wrong on our side, sorry!
Thank you! When I do postings with a lot of pictures I tend to have more written in the captions than the actual blog. lol

The butterflies are gorgeous - some of them don't even look real! Thanks for sharing and acknowledging your followers. :)
Thank you! Steemit is the first time I have tried to build a following, so it was a struggle but I do appreciate everyone's contributions and comments!
And just wait, I had to touch some flowers because they really did look fake 😀
It is hard work! Keep up talking to people in genuine ways.. the followers will come if you offer value and strike up friendships 😁
Congratulations @mr-bike on reaching 109 followers in only 47 days!

Thank you, I am glad you like them. I will have to check out your work now :)
thanks! :)
Those are some pretty amazing pictures of the butterflies, caterpillars, bees, and other buggy things. And I love all the butterfly attracting flowers.
Thank you, they really go all out for this festival. Hopefully, I can make it to the sea party in few weeks, that is gonna be a get chance to get photos as well. :)
I'll be looking forward to the sea pictures. Do they do like a viking thing, burn a boat on the water?
The tide just becomes the shallowest of the year and you can walk out to a nearby island. I suspect that it will feel a bit like Moses parting the sea, except less feeling of exodus. Ha
But does the tide stay out long enough to get to the island and back to shore before the tide comes back in? Do they have a lot of drownings when the tide comes back or do they keep a lot of rescue boats handy for just in case situations?
I am not sure about either if those answers. I am sure there will be some safety percautions taken for the event. I do have to bring some rubber boots to keep my feet dry.
Gotta keep those feet dry, at least it is warmer weather than a couple months ago. I hope the forecast looks good for nice weather and pictures.
Love it! You got some nice shots of some butterflies! If any people try to keep the butterflies for pets, they will be very disappointed when their new "pet" dies in a couple of weeks, since that is the lifespan of most butterflies!
Thank you, I tried really hard to get the best shots I could in. When I was a kid, I tried to get a caterpillar in a jar outside but then it rained literally that day and I felt terrible for the next week. :(
