As you may already know, @newbiegames wants to make SteemIt more fun and more profitable for newcomers.
One of the things we invented for that purpose is the Newbie Nickle.
A Newbie Nickel is something that we at the #newbieresteemday initiative uses to incentivize the newbies to play games or enter contests. Its a $0.05 upvote on their entry in the game/contest and it guarantees them something for making an effort. For some newbies this $0.05 is more than they can make on many posts, so it is indeed a way to earn "something" and to learn/engage at the same time.
Anyone can play. Anyone can join. You don't have to be a newbie, to win this Newbie Nickel.
So every now and then, we choose a fun game or contest to highlight. We invite you to join the game/contest, and we’ll reward you for it by upvoting your entry.
Basically, you get paid to have a little fun...

@bengy is learning Dutch. He is trying to learn some idioms, and came up with a fun game to let you join in on the fun.
He’s showing you 3 pictures, and it’s up to you to guess the meaning of each picture/idiom.

I played in one round, and yep, it was a lot of fun. I might stop by and try again. And well even us almost minnows, need a nickel every now and then. So I would already be a winner just by playing, yep, think I will play and try again sometime today or this evening.
