Another reason why there are relatively few electric taxis in Norway/Oslo compared to the number of electric cars ... one of the driving forces for electrifying the car fleet in Oslo is that electric cars get to use priority lanes and pay no road tolls (or pay great discounts on the tolls). That doesn't apply to taxis, they can always use the priority lanes and I don't think the road tolls are much significant for their bottom line (I don't even know if they have to pay it).

With such charging stations things will change and sooner than later there will be only electric cars as cabs. I don't see why not switch the lane towards electric. I would if I were a taxi driver. I guess there will be much more benefits than just charging a car wireless for the taxi drivers.
