Materials and tools
- Scraps of fabrics, or old clothes
- Thread
- Stuffing, wadding, filling an old pillow, a lot of fabric can also be used
- Wick, wool or yarn
- Scissors
- Needle
Cut all body parts, as shown in the photo, can be any fabric, color and texture, also the size depends on the quantities of fabrics available
Sew each piece by hand, backwards, to make it as delicate as possible and very well, to prevent the filling coming out.
Turn the right side all the pieces
Fill and embroider the face, eyes and mouth
Fill all parts of the body
Sew together the parts of the body
With the wick, make her hair
The idea of this doll is to use the material that we have, old clothes, scraps of leftover fabrics from other projects ...

I love the idea of making a rag doll out of scraps and materials left over from old projects. It’s a cute doll and doesn’t look too difficult to make. Thank you for laying out the steps for us with pictures included!! It’s always easier to follow along with a visual :)

Thank you for sharing the steps @tahiaarq! What a cool idea. Most time, we have many comfy tshirts that are no longer wearable but parts of it can be turned into a rag doll. I love the colours too. It is so cheerful :)
