NeedleWorkMonday Featured Posts #45
Greetings needle crafters and supporters!
Welcome to @needleworkmonday’s Featured Posts #45!
This is a weekly curation showcasing the needlework of our very own Steemians. Every Monday we get together to share our love and passion for the needle arts using the #needleworkmonday tag. On all other days we use the #needlework tag. We enjoy each other’s creations, ideas, patterns, tips and shortcuts.
We strive to bring to you great quality work filled with tutorials and inspiration. Please help us keep these wonderful needle arts alive and thriving by supporting our creative work and community!
This week we had 18 needleartists sharing their work under the #NeedleWorkMonday tag. A big thanks to you all for coming here week after week to inspire everyone with your handmade art!
🧵 Here are our featured projects this week 🧶
Coin purse woven in nylon thread by @xeliram / MarlenyLlanes
This is truly a case of thinking out of the "can". @xeliram shares with us her mother's (MarlenyLlanes) beautifully crocheted coin purse with an artistic touch of using can rings as part of the design. Who would have thought that can rings can add such beautiful aesthetic to a crochet project? Do drop by her post to find out how you can create one for yourself too.
Amigurumi #34: Dexter the dinosaur by @inici-arte
Meet Dexter, an adorable dinasour crocheted by @inici-arte. @inici-arte shows us her process in creating this cute dinasour, crocheting each piece starting with the head, then to the neck, to the body (and legs) and finally to the tail and joins them together. She also shares with us the pattern link too. Standing at 17cm and 30cm in length, this is a nice sized gift for a small child. Stomp on over to her post to see for yourself.
NeedleWorkMonday - Crocheted Aldi Quarter Keeper Keychain by @crosheille
If you are always looking around for a coin to rent shopping carts at your local supermarket or grocery or food market, then, you must visit @crosheille's post this week. She shares with us her brilliant creation of a crocheted quarter (or any coin) keeper that doubles as a keychain, that is very handy when we need to rent shopping carts for grocery shopping. And you can keep it close with you at all times as it holds your keys too!
Thank you for stopping by to view our featured posts for this week. Please stop by their posts and show them some love with a read and an upvote for sharing their handmade creations. To see more needle arts, please check out the #NeedleWorkMonday tag and check back here with @NeedleWorkMonday every Wednesday for the weekly Resteems and Curation posts!!

Thank you @c-squared!
I knew those rings that come in cans would serve as decoration. I've seen them on key chains. Very nice!
The Aldi supermarket must be very well known. Where I live there are wholesale and retail markets, where you can still find plastic bags. Only some use cloth bags or baskets.
Thank you very much for the support and dissemination of amigurumis. I am glad to know that there are people who like it.
Thank you for sharing your work with us @inici-arte! Look forward to see more from you :)
The coin keeper is like the new penny loafer, only it's actually meant to use the coin! haha
