NeedleWorkMonday Featured Posts #38
Greetings needle crafters and supporters! Welcome to @needleworkmonday’s Featured Posts #38! This is a weekly Curation showcasing the needlework of our very own Steemians. Every Monday we get together to share our love and passion for the needle arts using the #needleworkmonday tag. On all other days we use the #needlework tag. We enjoy each other’s creations, ideas, patterns, tips and shortcuts.
We strive to bring to you great quality work filled with tutorials and inspiration. Please help us keep these wonderful needle arts alive and thriving by supporting our creative work and community!
This week we had 22 needleworkers sharing their work under the #NeedleWorkMonday tag! A big thanks to you all for coming here week after week to inspire everyone with your handmade art!
Our featured posts are as follows...
Needleworkmonday: Zero Waste Sewing / Resteverwertung by @muscara
@muscara is breaking out her new sewing machine, or should I say breaking in? After a long time away from sewing, she decided to use her upholstery fabric samples to make project bags for her knitting and crocheting projects. I love how the upholstery material gives the bags a sturdy and firm look. I also love the way the contrasting colors look together.
The creation of a children's story // The sad story of Juancito by @maribelf
This was @maribelf’s first time posting for #NeedleWorkMonday! What an adorable realization project she and her husband helped put together for their son. This is truly a wonderful diy full of colorful art and learning. The fabric book is such a superb idea!
My Friends Threw Me a Baby Shower and Gave Me a Project to Do - Needlework Monday by @apanamamama
It was so nice to see a quilting post from @apanamamama, who is currently pregnant with her sixth baby! 🤗 Her friends put a baby shower together for her with a wonderful idea for a quilt. Each one of her friends signed a fabric square and gave it to her so she can make the baby a quilt. What an awesome and sweet idea and a good way for her to get some quilting in :D

Irish Crochet Dress: Done and Dusted by @vliet
Today we have a special feature! This feature is special because it is the longest project ever shared for #NeedleWorkMonday and we as a community have been following @vliet along this fantastic journey! We have watched her piece together this amazing and gorgeous Irish crochet dress. Through it all she stayed determined and dedicated to getting it completed and it is more dazzling and stunning than I even imagined it would be.
@vliet thank you for taking us along this sweet ride and allowing us to watch your skills be put to work. Your determination inspired us and the artistic beauty of your finished dress motivates us! On behalf of the @needleworkmonday community Congratulations on such an outstanding completion! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thank you for stopping by to view our featured posts for this wek! Please stop by their posts and show some love with a read and upvote for sharing their handmade creations! To see more needle arts please check out the #NeedleWorkMonday tag and check back here with @NeedleWorkMonday every Wednesday for the weekly Resteems and Curation posts!!
If you are a needlework artist we’d love to have you join us every Monday to share your work and inspire this community to give a craft a try!! On Monday’s, please use the #NeedleWorkMonday tag and on all other days please use the #needlework tag (without the word Monday attached) so we can find each other’s work.
